What is the difference between seamless and sectional gutters?

Sectional gutters come in pre-cut lengths joined together every 10 feet or so, and every one of those joints is a future leak. Seamless gutters are formed on site in one continuous run, so the only joints in the entire system are at corners and downspout outlets.
